Snyder's 'Man of Steel' takes aim but misses the mark

Film critic thinks the film is ponderous, empty, soulless, unfulfilling, and, most of all, lame. Instead of the being humorous and lighthearted, it tries to be serious and profound. It is neither, and as a result, the film is just not fun to watch.
