1	Shot UNI professor will return Monday	Professor Julie Husband was shot in the jaw over Thanksgiving break. She and her family were in Ohio visiting family when the incident occurred. Husband will be returning to campus on Monday, December 16.

2	Policy changes for pregnant and parenting students	UNI's Faculty Senate is working on a policy change to prevent pregnant students from being penalized for missing class due to medical reasons. The changes will become official upon the approval of President Rudd.
3	Bitcoins bring plenty of change to the digital age of currency	Bitcoins are a virtual currency that allow for international online transactions without oversight from banks or the government. The value of bitcoins is constantly fluctuating similar to the stock market. Bitcoins have a lot of potential in the future.
4	Adderall things considered	The author thinks that the underlying problem to Adderall abuse is the intense pressure placed on students to succeed. Many students that are abusing Adderall are top students. Students need to realize that their health is more important than grades.
4	Step back and stop obsessing over body image	The author encourages women everywhere to stop obsessing over body image and to accept and be happy with the way they look. Women need to be comfortable with who they are and how they look. Appearance is not as important as the media portrays it to be.
6	Miller presents 'Self!' to UNI: Artist gives intimate performance about identity	Tim Miller gave a performance entitled, "Performance! Body! Self!" for an audience at UNI. Miller's performance was an artistic description of his life. The audience responded well to the performance; photo.
6	UNI voices: How can students most effectively prepare for finals?	Students and faculty answer the question "How can students most effectively prepare for finals?".
8	UNI squeaks by Savannah Tigers	UNI men's basketball defeated the Savannah State University Tigers 55-50. The Panthers were having offensive trouble due to the Tiger's full-court defense. Coach Jacobson thinks the team needs to be more mentally prepared; photo.
8	Panthers lose by 20	The UNI women's basketball team lost to the University of South Dakota Coyotes, 87-67. The Panthers had a 21.7 3-point percentage and struggled offensively. UNI will take on Northern Illinois University on December 21.
8	Heisman doesn't mean success	The author thinks that many players who receive the Heisman Memorial Trophy don't exhibit the mission statement of the Heisman Trust. The most recent winner as well as many others have been involved in scandals throughout their careers.
