Bolumbu argues that skin color can be interchangeable when the whiteness of a character isn't a big part of their story like in Disney's movie "The Little Mermaid" or "Cinderella". She also adds that the story of Ariel is a fictional fantasy which takes place in a world where race isn't an issue; photo.
