Bartlett is one of the oldest dorms on campus and houses approximately 400 freshman women and 46 counselors. The students are able to participate in social hours, resident events, social services, and creating fundraisers. Counselors headed the governmental units until the freshman elected their own. The Homecoming Parade was a success TC's marching band and other campus groups made their way down the procession. The Homecoming Queen, Shirley Petersen, lead her court of four other girls; Mary Kaye Stringer, Shirley Radeke, Mary Paulk, and Jo Noble; Photos. The girls joined the audiences during the football game versus North Dakota University and cheered when TC won 14-9. Other special events that made up the week was the verity shows, Inter-Fraternity sing, and the Bartlett girls football game. The most looked foreword to event was the Homecoming Dance where students got to dress up and Jules Herman and his band would provide musical assistance.
