The Recycling and Reuse Technology Transfer Center (RRTTC) met in the northern Wellness and Recreation Center (WRC) parking lot to clean up the ponds north of the WRC. This was in an effort to clean up trash from the local wetlands before winter arrives. This event has been going on for 14 year and is one way for give back to the planet; photo.

8 Couple competes to produce minimal waste in documentary

"The Clean Bin Project", a documentary, was shown at the CEEE. The film showed the efforts of two roommates to cut down on waste. Washing Ziploc bags for reuse and making their own toothpaste helped reduce waste.
