10/5/2020 Cayman Islands Classic, one of the most prestigious pre-season basketball tournaments, has been cancelled for the 2020-21 season due to COVID-19 precautions and the shift of the NCAA season. Pre-season tournaments allow coaches to scout for players for Selection Sunday but due to the cancellation, this selection process will be more difficult for the 2021-22 year.

Individual wrestlers who performed well in their classes included Taylor Lujan, second overall; Bryce Steirt, second overall; Max Thomsen, sixth overall; Michael Blockhus, sixth overall; and Jay Schwarm, fourth overall.
