Article Summary | UNI's International Justice Mission (IJM) hosted a pop-up thrift store called "Threads" at the Maucker Union Ballroom. The goal of this activity was to not only raise funds for human trafficking but also to spread awareness of human trafficking around the world. Iowa especially has a strong human trafficking scene due to the two major interstates that run through the state with 38 cases reported in 2019 so far; photo.
