Packing the Dome for MLK Day

Article Summary
Around 1,500 volunteers gathered at the UNI-Dome on Martin Luther King Jr. National Day of Service. The year before Northwest Iowa Food Bank packed and provided over 125,000 bags, this attendance is double of what last years was. All of the UNI athletics joined in on the volunteer day. The event was held in the UNI-Dome rather then Maucker Union due to to John Deere sponsoring the event; photo.
