Margaret Howe, Barbara Wickersham, and Harriet Smith, all of Cedar Falls, were formally activated into Phi Sigma Phi, local social sorority at the college along with Wilma Whitten, Rowan, and Marilyn Zickefoose, Maquoketa, and Jackie Muth, Waterloo.
